Core capability

R-Corner Grinding in the Same Pass

The corner is ground while the panel is still on the machine, on the same datum as the edge. No second operation, no outside supplier.

Why R-corners are not optional

Shower doors need radius corners for hinges and safe edges. Furniture glass needs them on exposed corners. Appliance glass needs them for handling. Mirrors need them for the frame.

The problem is never the shape. The problem is how you produce it.

Conventional approach vs. one pass

Conventional JINBO
SetupSecond machine or outside supplierSame machine, same pass
HandlingRe-load, re-align, re-polishNone
Breakage riskRe-handling glass that is already finishedNo re-handling; the panel stays on the line
ConsistencyVaries between batchesSame radius, panel after panel
CostPer-piece outsourcing fee, every monthIncluded in the line

The comparison is per production day, not per machine.

The figures above are from the current BYAA BUT Series specification. Final processing range is confirmed against the panel drawing and production layout.

Where it is used

Shower glass

Hinge cut-outs and rounded safety corners on tempered panels.

Furniture glass

Exposed tabletop, shelf and door corners that people touch.

Appliance glass

Cooktop and oven door panels with rounded handling corners.

Mirrors

Rounded corner profiles for framed and frameless mirrors.

Watch it run

Fifteen seconds is enough to see the difference. The panel enters with square corners and leaves with a radius at line speed, without stopping.

Questions engineers actually ask

Can the R-corner be added to an existing line?

The R-corner function is offered as part of the BYAA BUT Series configuration. Existing-line retrofits require a review of the machine model and layout.

How does the radius stay consistent across a shift?

The current specification targets parallel error of ±0.2 mm, diagonal error of ±0.5 mm and chamfer width error of ±0.2 mm. Final acceptance criteria are confirmed with the project.

What happens to chipping at the corner?

The optional R3–R8 corner-cutting function can include a polishing effect. Wheel sequence and sample acceptance are confirmed during technical review.

What panel materials and sizes are supported?

The current specification covers rectangular glass, stone slabs and similar panels from 3–25 mm, up to 1,000 × 12,000 mm. Confirm the drawing before ordering.

Technical documents

The capability sheet is what most engineers ask for first.

Send us your corner drawing.

Tell us the radius, the glass thickness and the panel size. We will confirm whether it can be ground in a single pass, and at what speed.

Tell us what you are running

Share your line speed, glass thickness, panel size, and whether you need R-corners. That is enough for us to recommend a configuration and prepare a price.
