Edging and R-Corner Grinding for Shower Glass
Hinged doors need a true radius at the corner. It carries the hinge, and it takes the load.
What shower glass demands
A chipped or inconsistent corner on a shower door is not a cosmetic issue. It is a warranty claim waiting to happen, on tempered glass that cannot be reworked.
That is why the corner has to be produced at the same time, on the same machine, and from the same reference as the edge. A separate operation would require the panel to be handled again.

How the line solves it

Corner and edge, one datum
The R-corner is ground while the panel is still clamped in the edging position. Nothing is re-referenced, so nothing drifts.

No re-handling of finished glass
The panel leaves the line finished. Every manual transfer you remove is a chip you never get.

The wheel sequence and project acceptance criteria are confirmed against your panels and production requirements.

Grinding speed is up to 25 m/min on the current BYAA BUT Series specification. Final output depends on panel size and glass type.
